Commerce Dean Receives Outstanding Business Educator
Award for Entrepreneurship

Dr. Edwin P. Bernal, Dean, College of Commerce received the 2007 Outstanding Business Educator for Entrepreneurship Award during the First Business Education-Industry Summit and 7th Annual Conference of the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB) held last December 6 and 7, 2007 at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center.
The Business Education-Industry Summit brings together representatives from business, government, and academe to set priorities for convergence. The summit addresses strategic directions and initiatives towards developing the global Filipino. This is also the national annual meeting of deans, business educators and industry partners of the country organized for the purpose of improving the delivery of quality business education.
The annual Search for Outstanding Business Educators in the Philippines awards was initiated by PCDEB in collaboration with Petron Foundation. It aims to recognize and honor business educators who have proven exemplary performance in their respective fields of expertise.
