ADNU Retains COD Status in Business Administration

Ateneo de Naga University’s College of Commerce emerges as the only CHED designated Center of Development (COD) for Entrepreneurship, nationwide, as it boldly implements an innovative entrepreneurial program towards developing student-entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile, ADNU joins the nation’s elite group of six as it retains its status as Center of Development for Business and Management Education (CODBME), now renamed Center of Development in Business Administration.  ADNU is CODBME since SY 1999-2000.

To qualify as COD, a college of business and accountancy must be at least Level III accredited.  The college must also score highly in such areas as instructional quality, research, extension, outreach and linkages, and institutional qualifications.

As COD, AdNU is qualified to avail of possible financial assistance by submitting project proposals to CHED.  It will enjoy preferential status in the selection of CHED institutional partner with regards to other CHED development projects, including twinning programs.  It is also entitled to other non-monetary subsidies and awards such as graduate scholarships for faculty members, priority for CHED research grants and identification as autonomous and/or deregulated institution.
