2nd Blood Donation Activity Held

At around 3:30pm of December 3, 2007, Mr. Noel Amador (USRO) stood up from one of the folding beds sprawled across Xavier Hall. He breathed a sigh of relief and satisfaction. “Done!” he shouted, as he gave a thumbs-up sign to the other volunteers.  Mr. Amador was the 90th blood donor of the 2nd blood donation activity dubbed “Dugong Atenista II”. Held on the occasion of St. Francis Xavier Day, Ateneo students and employees voluntarily donated blood to “help save lives”.

The activity was in line with the National Voluntary Blood Services Program (NVBSP) of the Department of Health through the Bicol Medical Center.

The total ‘bags’ donated was 90 compared to the previous total of 86. Organizers of the activity are looking forward to a regular holding of this event.
