University Confers Service Recognition to Seventy-five Awardees

Last February 15, 2008, the Ateneo de Naga University once again showed its appreciation for the dedicated service rendered by its Faculty and Staff through the Annual Service Awards. Employees who have been with the Ateneo de Naga University for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years were recognized.

This year, 75 employees led by Ms. Nilma Y. Garchitorena, Ph.D., who has been with the University for 30 years, received the Service Award.

In front of a backdrop of glowing four pillars representing the pillars of services of the employees, the Awarding Ceremony was held from 9-11 am at the Arrupe Convention Hall. The program was hosted by Mr. Wilbur V. Almoneda and Mrs. Angelina R. Hermida. It was directed by Mr. Noel Volante. The program started with an opening prayer from Fr. David John Delos Reyes, S.J. Video presentations were made by Mr. Karl Lllorin and his 4th year Development Communication students. Fr. Joel E. Tabora, S.J., University President and Mr. Antonio G. Santiago, Jr., Director of Personnel Services handed out the Service Certificates to the 5 year awardees and Service Plaques to the 10,15,20, 25 and 30 year awardees. As a closing to the program, a music video tribute to the awardees was shown.
