Three AdNU Faculty Receive Diamond Achievement Award

Dr. Malu C. Barcillano, Dr.Edwin Bernal and Dr.Blandino Maceda, all members of the Ateneo de Naga University faculty were honored as “Diamond Achievers” by the University of Nueva Caceres last February 14, 2008. The three honorees are alumni/ae of the said university. The apparent success in their professional fields, both as academicians and actors for change in the community, were among the basis on their being distinctively chosen  for the said award.

Dr. Barcillano has a Doctorate in Philosophy in Behavioral Management and is now the Director of the Center for Local Governance.  She is also a faculty member of the Public Administration Program of the Graduate School in Ateneo de Naga University. Dr. Bernal has a Masters in Business Administration as well as a Doctorate in Business Administration. He is the Dean of the College of Commerce in AdNU.  Dr. Maceda has a Doctorate Degree in Philosophy- Behavioral Management and is a faculty member of AdNU’s Graduate School. He is also the Regional Director of the Department of the Interior & Local Government of Region V.

The Diamond Achievement Award is given to outstanding Alumni from the different academic department in recognition of their outstanding performance in their respective fields of endeavor as well as their zeal and dedication to their profession.
