MISSION
The High School of the Ateneo de Naga University forms boys and girls into young men and women for others marked with competence that serves the Faith, Conscience that promotes Social Justice, Compassionate Commitment to Change that is Inculturated, and Christ-Centeredness that impels Inter-Religious Dialogue through its educational program. The educational program is Faith-inspired, Integral, Interactive and Adaptive, Humanistic and Values-based. All instruction is guided by the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm and characterized by Cura Personalis stressing self-activity and mastery.
VISION
The Ateneo de Naga University High School is effective in its mission and goals for secondary education in the Bicol Region. The school culture lives and operates out of the Ignatian Charism. Religious or lay, administrator, teacher, or staff member, the pedagogue in the Ateneo de Naga High School is by VOCATION both companion and guide to students in their formation as men and women for others. The graduates are prepared for the rigors of higher education and the pursuit of their interests as persons. They examine thei religious experiences and beliefs with a view to living a fundamental orientation toward God, thereby establishing a relationship with a religious tradition and a religious community. They transcend self-centeredness and acknowledgement their responsibilties in the many needs of the local and wider communities. They recognize the reality of the humanand divine person of Christ working actively in their lives and in the lives of others.

 
How can I be admitted to the Ateneo?
An applicant is admitted to the Ateneo after passing the entrance examination and submission of the necessay credentials for enrolment. An applicant may also be called in for an interiew when necessary.

How do I take entrance exam?
1. Pay the Testing Fee (P75.00) at the Treasurer's Offices in the Main Campus or Pacol Campus.
2. Fill-out the Application Form and Exam Permit. Do not forget to attach 1 x 1 picture, white background.
3. Bring the Application Form and Exam Permit during the scheduled date of testing.

What is the Coverage of the Entrance Examination?

The First Year Entrance Examination is a battery of tests covering the following:

  • Mental Ability
  • Reading and Comrehension
  • Mathematics
  • English Language Grammar
Are scholarships offered in the Ateneo High School?
Yes. The Ateneo High School has scholarship program for deserving students.

 
If I need financial assistance, what do I need to do?
The first step is to take the scholarship & entrance examination. After passing, you should get the Scholarship Application Form from the Office of Admission & Aid.

After passing the entrance exam, what do I need to do?

You are now ready for enrolment. Bring with you the following required documents.

1.
 Original Copy of Grade VI Report Card or Form 138.
2.
 Birth Certificate (photocopy but show the original)
3.
 Certificate of Good Moral Character from the Principal, Adviser or Guidance Counselor.
4.
 Six (6) copies of 1x1 colored ID picture, white background
5.
 If not a Filipino Citizen, present ACR and study permit.
6.
 If valedictorian or salutatorian, bring a copy of the Commencement Program or a certification from the Principal.
Enclose all of the above in a long-size folder.
